Chatsworth Business Improvement District

The Chatsworth Business Improvement District (BID) was formed in 1999 to generate support for local businesses through a variety of programs and activities. Enhanced streetscape, landscape, security, and other programs and projects have resulted in an improved business environment in Chatsworth. BID is a nonprofit municipal corporation given the authority by local stakeholders in the primary Chatsworth business corridor to assess themselves in relatively small amounts for local enhancement projects.  Its operations are run by a community-elected Board of Directors and an Advisory Board appointed by the local Council office and renewable yearly at the discretion of the Los Angeles City Council.
